1. Steel shot for cast iron, cast steel and non-ferrous metal parts.
2. Steel balls on common steel welds, castings and steel accessories.
Metal steel shot, steel sand shot, stainless steel shot, sandblasting steel shot, low shell steel shot and so on.
Test standard of steel shot:
Technical requirements for metallic abrasives for jet cleaning of steel surface treatment prior to coating - Part 3: high carbon cast steel shot and sand
Technical requirements for metal abrasives for spray cleaning of steel surface treatment before coating - Part 4: Low carbon cast steel shot
JB/T 8354.2-2015 Metallic abrasives for shot peening cleaning and strengthening - Part 2: high carbon cast steel shot
JB/T 8354.4-2015 Metallic abrasives for shot peening cleaning and strengthening - Part 4: Low carbon cast steel shot
JB/T 8354.5-2015 Metallic abrasives for shot peening cleaning and strengthening - Part 5: Stainless steel shots
YB/T 5149-1993 Cast steel shot
Test method of steel pellet hardness:
1. The hardened steel shot with a certain diameter is pressed into the surface of the specimen under a certain load (p), stays for a period of time, and then the load is removed. The area of the indentation is measured. The smaller the indentation is, the greater the resistance to plastic deformation is, and the larger the hardness is, the smaller the hardness is.
2. Under the specified external load, the steel ball or diamond indenter is pressed vertically into the surface of the specimen to produce indentation, and the indentation depth is tested. Then the Rockwell hardness can be calculated by using the Rockwell hardness formula HR=(K-H)/C. Simply put, the shallower the indentation, the larger the HR value, the higher the material hardness; It's called "HRC"; It means that under the test load of 150kg, the indentation depth of the specimen is 0.08mm when the diamond conical indenter with the top Angle of 120 degrees is used.
Hardness test standard of steel shot:
1. The usual standards for steel shot execution are: SAE, VDFI8001, AMS2431.
2, the hardness range of the steel shot: HRC40-50 HRC42-50 HRC56-60 HRC 63-66(maximum deviation range of ±3.0HR).
3, the density of the steel shot: minimum density 7.4g/m³(can be measured by alcohol replacement method).
Steel shot has a very wide range of uses, many mechanical parts are used in steel shot. And different types of parts, there are some differences in the hardness requirements of steel pellets. Hachin testing believes that when you test the hardness of steel pellets, you can test the hardness of Nouw, Rockwell, Brinell or Vickers according to your own needs.
