Applications of Counterweight Steel Grit

　　Counterweight steel grit is an important raw material in powder metallurgy. Its industrial production and application began in the 1920s. At that time, electrolytic and carbonyl counterweight steel grit produced in Germany were mainly used as catalysts in the chemical industry. Production of iron-based powder metallurgy parts began in the 1930s.

　　1. Chemical Counterweight Steel Grit: Mainly used in forklift counterweighting and chemical industries, with a content of 80%-90% and an adjustable mesh size of 30-200.

　　2. Metal Displacement Counterweight Steel Grit: Mainly used in the copper and nickel smelting and processing industries for metal displacement, with a content of 70%-90% and an adjustable mesh size of 60-200.

　　3. Counterweight Steel Grit for Rubber and Plastic Products Filling: Mainly used for filling and counterweighting in the rubber and plastics industries, with a loose specific gravity of 2-4.5 and an adjustable mesh size of 80-200.

　　4. Counterweight steel grit and slag: Counterweight steel grit, slewing bearings, scrap steel shot, scrap steel grit, etc., can be used for counterweighting in engineering machinery and bridges, elevators, concrete, electrical appliances and lighting fixtures, sporting goods, forklifts and cranes, etc.

　　5. Main target industries: Raw counterweight steel grit, primary reduction counterweight steel grit, secondary reduction counterweight steel grit, food-grade deoxidizer counterweight steel grit, desiccant reduced counterweight steel grit, hand warmer heating reduced counterweight steel grit, infusion heater reduced counterweight steel grit, and welding electrode reduced counterweight steel grit.
