　　Compared with other abrasives, the consumption of one kilogram of stainless steel shot is equivalent to the consumption of 17 kilograms of emery, equivalent to the consumption of 100 kilograms of glass beads, equivalent to the consumption of 3-4 kilograms of ordinary steel shot, equivalent to the consumption of 3 kilograms of aluminum pills and zinc pills.

　　Stainless steel shot is mainly used for surface treatment and decoration of non-ferrous metals. The density of stainless steel shot is twice that of aluminum shot, so the shot blasting speed is suitable to reduce the ideal cleaning effect. There is no pollution to the workpiece from beginning to end, and the service life is much higher than that of aluminum shot.

　　According to the actual measurement, the consumption of shot blasting is about two kilograms per ton of aluminum alloy castings. Under the same process conditions, the same number of workpieces of the same kind are processed.
