  1. The processed components and finished products 304 stainless steel should be accepted by experience before external treatment.

  2. Before rust removal, the burrs, welds, solder joints, splashes, dust and scale on the surface of the 304 stainless steel surface should be cleaned. At the same time, the loose oxide and thick rust should be removed

  3. If there is oil on the surface of 304 stainless steel shot, it should be cleaned before rust removal. If there are oil stains and oils on the part of the area, you can usually choose partial disposal methods. If there is a large area or all areas, organic solvents or thermal alkali can be used for cleaning.

  4. When the surface of the 304 stainless steel shot  is sour, alkali or salt, it can be washed with hot water or steam. However, pay attention to the treatment of wastewater to avoid environmental pollution.

  5. Some newly rolled 304 stainless steel coated with maintenance paint, so as not to store and transport them in a short period of time. The stainless steel pipe with maintenance paint should be treated according to the conditional conditions. If the curing coatings are two groups of coatings cured with curing agent, and the coating is basically intact, it can be treated with sand cloth, stainless steel pipe velvet or light spray coating method, and can be treated, and it can be treated. After cleaning the dust, the next step is performed.

  6. For the commonly used primer of the surface coating workshop or to maintain 304 stainless steel, the treatment method is usually determined according to the current status of the coating and the next matching coating. All items that cannot be used for further coating or affect the next coating adhesion should be completely removed.

Appropriate hardness If the steel shot or steel sand is too soft, it will slow down the cleaning speed and reduce the work efficiency. During shot peening, steel shots that are too soft cannot produce suitable residual stress, and the force of low-hardness shots cannot be compensated by increasing the impact time.

Steel shot is made of high-quality steel scraps, which are first melted and then sprayed with high-pressure water to form the molten steel into small balls. The resulting shot is heated again to purify and homogenize it, and then quenched.
