304 stainless steel shot sometimes rusts during use, stainless steel shot manufacturers will introduce anti-corrosion treatment methods
1. Processed components and finished 304 stainless steel should be accepted by experience before external treatment.
2. Before derusting, the burrs, welding seams, solder joints, spatters, dust and scale on the surface of 304 stainless steel should be cleaned. At the same time, the loose scale and thick rust layer should be removed
3. If there is grease on the surface of 304 stainless steel shot, it should be cleaned before derusting. If there is oil and grease on only part of the area, partial disposal is usually an option, and if there is a large area or all of the area, organic solvents or hot caustic can be used to clean it.
4. When there is acid, alkali or salt on the surface of 304 stainless steel shot, it can be washed with hot water or steam. However, attention should be paid to the treatment of wastewater to avoid environmental pollution.
5. Some newly rolled 304 stainless steels are coated with maintenance paint to avoid corrosion during storage and transportation in a short period of time. The stainless steel pipe coated with maintenance paint should be treated according to the conditions to be determined. If the cured paint is a two-component paint cured with a curing agent, and the paint is basically intact, it can be treated with emery cloth, stainless steel pipe velvet or light spraying method, and The next step of processing is performed after cleaning the dust.
6. For the surface coating shop primer or the commonly used primer for maintaining 304 stainless steel, the treatment method is usually determined according to the current state of the paint and the next matching paint. All items that cannot be used for further coats or affect the adhesion of the next coat should be thoroughly removed.
